State-administered death is always a greater horror than any other by virtue of the methodical reasoning that precedes it. French philosopher Albert Camus wrote that "capital punishment is the most premeditated of murders, to which no criminal's deed, however calculated, can be compared. "For there to be an equivalency, the death penalty would have to punish a criminal who had warned his victim of the date on which he would inflict a horrible death on him and who, from that moment onward, had confined him at his mercy for months. Such a monster is not to be encountered in private life."

Walks like me...

Talks like me...

But for some reason...

He ain't like me ... 

He has a prejudice ¬

Against me !..

Says he hates me

Binds and enslaves me

Says I won't never be free

Now chains cut my skin

Mis-use and abusses me

So through prayer I flee

Listing for the Most High

      To answer me ....

I search my mind 

There's light I can't find

But can't see it

There's darkness all around me

It's invading the soul of me

There's no way to fight

Expect to flee to the light

But the light can be found

It's quiet and makes no sound

I think I'm nearing the end 

This situation went bend

I fear for once 

I really can't win

My Angels

I saw 3 angels tonight

They smiled upon me

They sang to me

They reached out to me

With love they embraced me

Life was perfect to me

That moment nothing else mattered to me

Tonight I danced with the angels

I sang with the angels

Tonight through a dream

My angels blessed me

My children visited me ...

Thought we would forever be

I was the rock on which you would lean

Gods most precious gift to life

      The King and his Queen

                Them and they

                          One and the same

I was yours

         And you were mine

                   We were ours

     Or so I thought

But us I faught for my life

        A King

And as I turned around

      to glimpse my Queen

               My inspiration

                     the one I loved

What the hell is a King

Love Lost

I had a love that seemed so right

Thought of her morning, noon, and night

She as all I ever wanted

In my eyes all needed

The most holy saint couldn't make me believe

In the blink of an eye she would leave

How long could this feeling last

The feeling of being left inthe past

I faught for her

Would've died for her

But in the end I lost her

Wise men wade into it

Naive; I dove head first into it

There I found myself alone

My love had gone

Was it really real

The feelings I even today feel

Questions only she could answer

In love it's death before dishonor

Then blame love for my hearts slow murder 

Vision of my past

Vision of my past

Loves of my past

Now pictures of my pain

They dominate my brain

Some so vivid and real

Their touch I still feel

Each promised me love forever

But in an instant forever was forgotten

I am a feel for love

And love makes a fool of me

Does the pain ever subside

Will the memories ever fade

Am I the only one in misery

Or are they missing me.

Hello,

      My name is Beunka Adams. I'm 21 year old black man here on Texas death row. I was arrested two years ago September 3rd 2002 at the age of 19. My trail procedures began back in June of 2004 and ended August 31, 2004.

I came from a small town where I had very little resources and minimal support. My life has been filled poverty and a great many anxieties. Due to financial burdans, confusion, and drug abuse my lifes conditions only got worse and I ended up getting into something I deeply regret. I seriously tried to overcome the socioeconomic barriers I faced daily but was unsucessful. Now I'm trying to fight for my life but my knowledge of the law is very limited and the few resources I had are even smaller now,

I need help...

I am seeking any kind of support that anyone is willing to give me, legal advice, books, pro bono representation and moral support. But most of all right now I need a real sincere friend. I am cooped up in this little cell 23 hours a day with nothing to do, and it's a struggle trying to maintain my sanity. I hope that who ever reads this will find it in their heart, to reach out to me in friendship. I know you want regret it. I'm a decent person and a compasionate friend.
